Its time she got out and actually flaunted her good looks.

About the spelling error, this photo is just a draft for the FHM May issue; the magazine has not been printed yet. I hope they will have it corrected by then.

Summer Glau doing all these photoshots is a good sign for her carreer; every young attractive actress do this, why wouldn't Summer do it. If she wants to have roles outside the sci-fi niche (which she already had, like Lifetime movies, comedies, westerns,...) she has to use mainstream media like Esquire or FHM and not only comic con. Don't think for one moment this is just hazard. On the contrary, this is a deliberate move from Summer Glau.
A lot of actresses would kill to have a cover for such a big magazine; 12 issues a year means only 12 actresses (or singers, models) having this opportunity. This is nothing in comparison to the number of would-be actresses in the market. Summer did not pay to make these photoshoots and the magazines wouldn't do them if Summer was not "bankable" : i see this as a recognition of her ability to attract readers of viewers, because of her good looks of course but not only. There is plenty of women who have better "assets" than Summer Glau, but can they act or touch people's soul, i don't think so.
Summer possess the gift of beauty and this little something that makes people are attracted to her, whether they are male or female. Some have it, some don't. Summer just need a bit of luck to find the role that will make her carreer take off the way she deserves. I believe in her or i wouldn't spent so much time on this wiki.

Even if FHM magazine is on sale from the 7th April, it's the May issue it's referring to, not April as seen elsewhere.
