Skylar who provides the props helps Summer Glau to understand the tech because it doesn't come naturally to her.
Bruce Miller remembers Summer Glau asking him what voltage meant! lol, but he believes her on the show so she's a great actress. He said : "Summer Glau's natural curiosity allows her to be a better Skylar."
He says the finale will be "great" - everything that you think they never actually go there, they go there. The finale is incredibly surprising and unpredictable sets up an amazing season three."
Miscellaneous
Summer Glau has always found in sci-fi the roles of women are exciting and outside the box. She said : "coming from being a dancer, it was a great way to transition to acting through physical roles (action)"
When she played River in Firefly she had a hard time communicating with the other characters, she communicated through the physicality
She will be visiting her hometown soon.

She hasn't been approached for a Syfy Saturday movie
