Very good ! Shade of blue, IMHO, should be softer and richer to give depth to the portrait. A hair can make some other (maybe even for a contrasting blue leather) " It's just an object. Here is the final image :  I decided not to include ears or hairs because i thought it would look ridiculous and spoil the image. I tried to give a fairy like dimension with bright color on Summer's faec and background, and added an halo around her. Cameron: He’s not a guy. He’s a scary robot. Charley: He’s a scary robot? I made a mistake from the strat by using a low quality image. I might do anothe avatar pict but with a high resolution picture this time. Here is the final image before i applied filters.
