Summer Glau did not rank in FHM's 100 Sexiest Women In The World 2012 this year!
Let me copy/paste an updated version of what i wrote at the begining of this year poll :
"If we have had news about Knights of Badassdom release date, then Summer would have been in the list; because FHM ranking is not based on the votes from people like you and me (even if if it is sold that way).
FHM editors ultimately make the ranking themselves; their criteria is money, like the million dollar Michael Bay paid them to crown Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, but also the press covering they can expect, which is directly linked to the notoriety of the top ten woman, also remember that FHM is a UK company, hence the presence of a lot of page three girls, also known as "glamour models" and finally they try to match the ranking and the upcoming movie of an actress (like what happened with Rosie H-W starring in Transformers 3).
In the FHM's special booklet inwhich they announce the results and show pictures of the 100 Sexiest Woman, there is always a snippet tied to the photo where the upcoming projects of the woman is mentioned and also an enticing comment (FHM is a lad magazine after all).
Last year, both preview photo or final photo of Summer related to that poll included an article mentioning KOB; and FHM's editor said also that Summer's photoshoot was held back till KOB is released. This is why Summer's final ranking is tied to KOB's release date.
What proof do i have to say that : none! It's all based of my experience of last year."
This year winner is Tulisa Contostavlos, British singer-songwriter and actress; Tulisa is currently a judge on the UK tv program The X Factor, where she replaced Cheryl Cole, a multiple winner of the FHM contest.
Imo, this year unexpected winner only reinforce the impression that the poll is skewed; put another way, The X Factor paid for the top ranking, just like Michael Bay did for last year victory of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley ; if you're not convinced, go on Twitter, search for the hashtag #FHM and read the tweets expressing their surprise, to say the least.
In the meantime, here are pictures and bts video from the photoshoot made last year when FHM fooled us (and Summer Glau in the process) to believe that she was in the top ten, if not the winner (also included Esquire video) :

Crazy Thomas offers us an exclusive behind the scene look on the sets of the Terminator : The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
A few words from the producer's blog :
"It’s Friday, February 6th which means we’re just one week (seven short days) away from the return of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles! And as it’s Friday, it also means it’s video podcast day! But come on, how could you forget that?
Now this one is special. You asked for it (check out those comments), and we made it happen. We gave Thomas, our John Connor, a portable flip cam and sent him off to shoot anything and everything during his day on set. This is what he came back with.
Warning! This video is as real as it gets and does get shaky at times… so if you’ve got a case of the motion sickness blues, you may have to fast forward every so often.
Featuring special guest appearances…"
It's fun to watch and Thomas is making a lots of jokes (you've got to take a look at Lena's photos on the make-up trailer).
